Recently, Amazon was recognized for its customer satisfaction excellence. It has made no secret that being customer-centric is a primary goal. This should be the goal of every e-tailer that wants to build market share.

I think the primary drivers toward Amazon's strong customer experience performance are:

--choice

Amazon usually has what you want

--channels

The company qualifies many other sellers besides itself in its sales networks--and these sellers usually perform well

 

--fulfillment

Customers generally get what they want quickly, and they feel secure in giving Amazon their payment information

What is it costing Amazon to consistently have these high customer satisfaction ratings? Is social media playing role in Amazon's underdtsnding of what the perfect customer experience is?
