Wow.

I got a good chuckle out of this. My first thought was "who in the hell thought that would be a good idea?".

I especially like the father sitting next to his daughter, with his arm around her, laughing at whatever he's watching - what a way to be close to your family, sharing nothing.

I accept the "augmented reality is the future" argument, even though I think living with real reality is just fine. But I don't agree that it applies here. This isn't augmented reality -- it's literally online video, up against your eyeballs, inside a hat with curtains.

The video hat probably isn't the best product to promote augmented reality, but it's definitely one way to get a "nice augmented reality" hack without hacking it yourself (actual augmented reality hardware and software not included).

Thank you! Yes, I am very confused about the jogging person or the people walking around in public with these on. Seems the makers of TV Hat didn't take into consideration that one can't actually see what's before him/her when wearing a television in front of one's face. Minor detail!
