Prior to that he was VP of Marketing Strategy and Marketing Programs for the IBM Software Group, and also served as VP of Infrastructure Solutions Marketing for IBM, an initiative that integrated marketing among three of IBM's business units: Global Technology Services, Systems Technology Group, and Software Group.
