Yes, security is a big concern for many companies with cloud. As you say, add in PCI (HIPAA or any other regulatory issue) and it becomes huge. I can see the attraction of BI and big data in the cloud.
Cloud - we are testing solutions in public cloud now. THere are still issues with PCI compliance in public cloud which prevents us from using it much. We are also testing BI & Big data analytics in cloud.
