Allen Falcon, President of
Horizon Information Group, has assisted large, mid-size, and small businesses with strategic technology planning, management, and operations. Working on the staffs of corporate CIOs, Allen led efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of information services for internal and external customers. Through implementation of End-to-End Service Management models, Allen helped clients develop effective service definitions and operating models for IS organizations; realize measurable improvements in problem and change management procedures; and implement financial modeling tools for budgeting and technology investment analysis.
Bringing his experience and expertise to small and mid-size organizations, Allen has served as a Consulting CIO for businesses in multiple industries. In his capacity as a member of clients’ management teams, Allen has planned and managed technology projects that directly support business goals and bottom lines. Beyond improving IS staffing, vendor relations, and procedures for more reliable day-to-day operations, Allen has defined and led critical business application and infrastructure projects designed to improve and enable new business opportunities.
Allen is also CEO of Horizon Info Services, LLC, provider of managed applications and IS services for small and mid-size businesses.
Allen is a strong advocate for small businesses and the quality of technology services and advice they receive. He currently serves on the board of the Institute of Management Consulting (New England Chapter) and is a past Director of the Smaller Business Association of New England.
