Saves you a lot of worry. For me I turn on packet data on my ipad whenever I take it out of my house. I already have a pass code so no worries about loosing confidential information.
Wow. That would be really great. I have never thought about it. I loose my glasses all the time because I don't wear it all the time like I'm supposed to. What's the way to locate its position?

@hounhosp-There is already an app for that..With "StickNFind locator system" now there will be no more hide and seek between you and your different possessions..
Is that the same as faking a phone call to get out of a conversation with someone that is right there in front of you? Or do you do it to keep your fingers moving?
The best apps are those that either fulfill a real need or are addictive and you suddenly realize you absolutely couldn't live without them -- or life becomes less fun if they suddenly freeze or become unavailable to you! Trying to figure out my favorite app as I type... Depends on my mood, I guess. I am still super-addicted to that faithful standby Twitter, out of all the things I do on my phone.
