@nathanwosnack, Cisco is predicting there will be 2 network-connected devices for every 1 person in the world by 2015. That's 15 billion devices in two years! Future generations will be connected in a way we can't even fathom - as a given, as a fact, as a way of life. Talk about changing times!
magneticnorth, I agree. App purchase decision analytics are easily trackable and it's a direct consumer to vendor purchase/download. No way for margins of error. And when something is hot and trending, it's posted on the front of iTunes/Google Play and social media.
I still do not see why they are having so much hate, even more so than Facebook. It feels like users should know that since they are owned by Facebook, then they can expect these kind of issues. At least they have been willing to work out the most of the issues for the most part.
She may be getting plaudits for the restructuring of Yahoo before it has even taken place, but kudos to Ms Mayer for restoring some semblance of calm, and interrupting the steady parade of really bad headlines.
