I have not seen the video, but if Internet users from across this nation can boost this guy to superstardom, then I too hope the Internet can be used to reach the masses for something much more meaningful and powerful.
It's amazing how the video got viral and approached a billion views within a very short span. It's almost saying that 1/8th of the world has seen the video.
When in the history of the world has so many people seen something so silly and fun? This gives me hope that the Internet will actually unite the world some day for something meaningful!
Do the Naughty care that they are the naughty ones? For me Kevin Systrom didn't sound upset or guilty at all.Something like-Ok, I am co founder of Instagram, no matter what stupid rules we have- you are still using our app.So, why care...
@Mitch -- I, too, have great hopes for Mayer @ Yahoo. I heard she was a force to be reckoned with while at Google, and since she has something to prove, she is in high gear. My guess is that there will be a shake-up / shake-down at Yahoo after the first of the year.
The most interesting fact about the epic Gangnam style video is that it has been declared as the ninth most watched video of all times and thus following the famous Justin Bieber who is on position eight.
It's amazing to see that a person, with the help of only one track, has managed to make his standing among the super stars like Justin.
Facebook, naughty for taking money from college kids working at diners who thought their IPO was their one chance to gamble into some money and pay off their tuition without student loans.
Nice for remaking the anonymous, virtualized, avatar infested world of the Internet into a place where grandmoms feel comfortable posting pictures of the Christmas cookies they baked for their family to the Friends they know and trust.
For me the best item on the list is PSY's Gangnam Style. It's amazing how the video got viral and approached a billion views within a very short span. It's almost saying that 1/8th of the world has seen the video. And that also tells you about the power of internet in giving a chance to any ordinary person to become a world-renowned superstar.
Usman, - Each to their own as i don't want to go into a contest... its just my opinion that the windows 8 resembles a lot what i have on samsung galaxy tab.

It was about 10 years ago when a new generation of software-as-a-service (SaaS) alternatives started to gain acceptance and adoption among organizations of all sizes. And it has only been about five years since Amazon Web Services captured the marketplace's attention with Amazon EC2 and Amazon S3, which opened the door to a vast array of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) offerings. Now, the third piece of the cloud computing puzzle is beginning to win over organizations seeking to build their own apps: platform-as-a-service (PaaS).

Civil libertarians are outraged at the revelation the NSA is reportedly spying on more than one-third of Americans -- obtaining phone records from phone companies, in case it might need them for later use. Edward Snowden, the man who leaked details of that program, also revealed a second effort dubbed “Prism,” which represented a more aggressive grab of email and other communications. (See: Prism Exposes Unwritten Privacy Rules.)

New York's Metropolitan Transit Authority is conducting a pilot test of digital kiosks to guide subway users to where they want to go more efficiently and at lower cost.
The whole Amazon.reader debate is a double-stupid. It's stupid to think that there's any e-book buyer who doesn't know Amazon's URL, and it was stupider to let ICANN launch the whole free-form TLD initiative to start with.
While NFC's original goal was to enhance mobile commerce applications, it is finding its way into a number of other uses, which is creating both opportunity as well as challenges for IT departments.
