Exactly. I believe it's good news to know that we can secure data in the Cloud with certainty. Now it would be a good time to look at improving IT infrastructure.
I supposed it was a link to an article. It didn't show, though. Instead, I got that Splunk thing ( I don't remember what it was about) kind of ad only. I'll try the link again.
@Michael I know what you mean. When I was without power and without access to the internet for a few days, it was reassuring that my files were out there. But I still couldn't get to them. It was, however, possible to travel out to where internet service was functional.

One of our Managed Services clients had numerous sites go down. Not unexpected. Several in Illinois. There was wind, but nothing to suggest that was a significant effect.
They used one ISP across all the affected sites, and the ISP claimed a data center outage in the NY Area that took down routing. Or that's how the customer relayed it to us. I saw no announcement of this on the ISP's Web site.
So that's an uncorroborated account. If true, though, it's also a major failure to provide updates on the part of that ISP.
