Surface rocks. I have a Windows 8 machien with touch screen, and was able to try out a surface next to the gate prior to boarding at Austring Bergstrom Airport.
I voted that it's intriguing but I need to learn more about it. I've witnessed people using it, and its integration of Windows 8 and utilization of Office 365 cloud service is indeed intriguing. The problem is I've owned arguably the best tablet on the market; the iPad (version 1 and 2) and soon enough it turns into an unused paper weight.
I usually advise my clients to wait for real-life enterprise proof that the integration works before purchasing new hardware. While it would be great to be ahead of the pack, purchasing 100 new tablets is no joke, and for some companies, a bad acquisition can really destroy the business.
it's not like Microsoft has done that great with tablets and other micro devices up til now. In fact, my young man has just ordered us matching 10" Galaxy Tabs. Yes, I wish they had more memory, but they can take a memory card, so I'm sure I'll manage.
Ever since Microsoft threw its Cash pile behind Dell;I am more than Certain that Microsoft will do whatever it takes to support the Biggest Players here.

In my Opinion,they should seriously refocus on their (now Declining) PC business and use Existing Customers to push through New Services Products.
