While harsh, the head of a department AND of the organization need to go. Since Mr. Herbert is an elected official, only the citizens of Utah can fire him. By the same token, Jamie Dimon should have been given the boot over the latest loss. The JPMorgan & Chase Board of Directors failed in its responsibilities by not terminating Mr. Dimon. I think if Board members were held accountable for their subordinate's performance (i.e., the Chairman/CEO), maybe we might see better corporate performance. It's time that stakeholders (and voters) started holding the feet to the fire of those in charge. If the upper echelon were to lose their job over the almost (or actual) criminal performance of their underlings, we might see an improvement in our economy.
