In 2007, research firm IDC reported that worldwide data storage was at 300 exabytes and projected that data would grow by a factor of ten by 2011.
I’m not a hardcore networking person, but it was impossible not to notice last month when Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO) “leaked” that an upcoming announcement on March 9 would "forever change the Internet and its impact on consumers, businesses, and governments."
