@StaceyE, Just right there. You've hit the right button. Even I had a similar experience on Google Play. I came across this really really stupid App called Solar Battery Charger (or something similar), which the name suggests that you can charge your cellphone battery using Solar energy. WoW ! What an idea? But that was it. It was only an Idea and it never charged any batteries. A real useless App I felt.
There are so many apps that are completely useless, it amazes me. I was browsing apps the other day and saw one called wi-fi hacker (or something to that effect). In its description it clearly stated that the app "pretends" to gain access to secured networks. My first thought was that it was stupid and a complete waste of space. I went on and read the customer reviews (mostly because I noticed there were so many), and I was shocked that people were irate because the app didn't really work.....that was a total "shake my head" moment....
