LOL ! Thats a Hillarious Cartoon, Jon. Thank you for that. Cant stop laughing loudly. The Doctor is in the wrong profession I thought. He should have become an Engineer. Instead of prescribing an App he could have created one !
@StaceyE, Just right there. You've hit the right button. Even I had a similar experience on Google Play. I came across this really really stupid App called Solar Battery Charger (or something similar), which the name suggests that you can charge your cellphone battery using Solar energy. WoW ! What an idea? But that was it. It was only an Idea and it never charged any batteries. A real useless App I felt.
There are so many apps that are completely useless, it amazes me. I was browsing apps the other day and saw one called wi-fi hacker (or something to that effect). In its description it clearly stated that the app "pretends" to gain access to secured networks. My first thought was that it was stupid and a complete waste of space. I went on and read the customer reviews (mostly because I noticed there were so many), and I was shocked that people were irate because the app didn't really work.....that was a total "shake my head" moment....
"I'd like an app that will help me find the lost idealism or optimism of my youth.
Or my hair. I'll start with that and work up."
You mean that app will feature the time machine concept? Great idea Mitch..now old age won't remain a gloomy one,as you still gonna have strong teeth, strong eyesight and black and shiny hair in this span of life too..;)

Marissa Mayer at Yahoo has come out with her strategy on turning the company around: culture, company, calibration, and compensation. But Yahoo needs to have a technical approach to the mobile cloud opportunity, not a management theory lesson.
The proposal to make more IPv4 addresses available through a buy-and-sell exchange is dumb and won't work. We've fiddled on this issue long enough; it's time to just make the switch to IPv6 and be done with it!
The whole Amazon.reader debate is a double-stupid. It's stupid to think that there's any e-book buyer who doesn't know Amazon's URL, and it was stupider to let ICANN launch the whole free-form TLD initiative to start with.
