As principal data scientist at LinkedIn, Daniel Tunkelang leads a team of data scientists focused on the "3 Rs: Relevance, Recommendations, and Reputation" for the social site. Before joining LinkedIn in late 2010, he was a tech lead at Google. Before that, he served as chief scientist at the search application startup Endeca. Daniel earned a BS and MS from MIT and a PhD in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University.
